Students may be eligible for AP credits based on
their scores on the Advanced Placement Examinations. Students may be eligible
for IB credits based on their exam scores on the International Baccalaureate examinations.
-
The updated tables and guidelines for AP and IB credits are available
on the Registrar's website:
Advisors may use these tables to determine what the student's AP and/or IB credits
will be.
-
Once the credits are posted, students can view information
about credits they were awarded on Hokie Spa under the Transfer Credits section.
-
A substantial AP report from College Board is expected near the last week in June and the awarding of credit should show on Hokie SPA by the end of the first week in July. IB transcripts arrive in late July and then time is needed for processing (usually it takes a week).

Scores must be sent directly to Virginia Tech from the testing agency. No scores will be used from other sources.
